For this twelfth week, we started the week in the "Lars House". There was still some exterior and interior work to be done. With LP, we cleaned the whole yard, there were many things (gravel, earth, concrete,...). So we cleared everything away. It was a very physical job and especially a very long one.

Ayane, on the other hand, cleaned up the floor. You had to vacuum and level all the floors. Next week, the tiler comes to install the floor in the house and install the kitchen. The house must therefore be ready and tidy.

Wednesday evening, we said goodbye to Ayane, it was our last moments with her. I am happy to have shared part of this experience with her. Thanks to her, I was able to develop my English further and she taught me a lot. It's a beautiful meeting.

For the weekend, we worked with Sean on the farm. He needed help with tasks he can't do alone. We had to clean a shed so that we could put the baby sheep and their mother in it. Indeed, on Thursday morning, we had a bad surprise, the family thinks that a fox came to the farm by night and we found in the morning three dead baby sheep and a mother. It was therefore necessary to find a solution quickly and to keep the baby sheep safe.

On Friday, we had to help a sheep give birth. As a normal, a sheep gives birth alone. However, this one was in trouble. Sean tried to help him, but he couldn't. The baby sheep was stuck inside, his head was badly positioned. He called a veterinarian, to help him. A young veterinarian arrived, this is the first time she came to the farm. She also tried, but to no avail. So she called a second veterinarian to do a cesarean section. In the end, the sheep had two babies, it was a nice surprise. Both babies arrived healthy. This was the first time I had ever attended a Caesarean section on an animal. In addition, I contributed to this birth, since I had to keep the sheep calm. It's a great experience, I'm very happy to have had it once in my life. I'll remember that for a while.

It was a week full of emotions but full of good memories.
