To start this week, I went with Ayane to the house that the family owns in Portlaoise. We had to repaint the outside of the house. The exterior paint and walls were very damaged.

Helen stores many things at home, on the farm, for recycling. We discovered that she was storing equipment in order to put it in the bathrooms and toilets of the "Lars House", the house Helen inherited. So we had to clean the equipment before taking it home. Workers took care of installing them on the weekend.

A few weeks ago, we picked up a second-hand kitchen in Carlow. In the meantime, the kitchen was stored in the house on the farm, where the Japanese woman lives. The tiler finished installing the tiles earlier this week, so we were able to bring the kitchen into the Lars House. It was a very physical job, fortunately Sean helped us.

We also cleaned the floor in the "Lars House". So that next week, the new floor can be installed.

In addition, as every week now, we have to check the sheep every day. And ensure the comfort of baby sheep.

As the end of the stay and experience approaches, I'm starting to get a little nostalgic. Ayane is leaving next week, so this will be our last week working with her.
