For this fifth week on the farm, the work was quite diversified. We worked on the farm but also in the "Lars House".
At the level of the house that Helen inherited, we continued cleaning the house. We also started painting the ceilings of the rooms on the first floor. There are four bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. We also erected a scaffold to allow workers to make holes outside each room of the house. In Ireland, they put ventilation grids in every room, whether on the ground floor or on the first floor.
Then we worked on the farm with Sean. We have a daily mission since this week, we have to check every morning that the sheep who are expecting a baby are fine. We have to check two pastures. In the first one there are sheep expecting two babies and in the other there are sheep expecting three babies. We must also feed them.
We also cleaned the puppy pen (here the puppies are called "puppies"). They are 5 in a small area and as they are inside all day long, it is necessary to clean regularly. Every week we're going to have to clean the pen.
And finally, I took care of mowing the different green spaces on the farm.
It was a busy week but once again very diversified.
