My family (my mother, brother, sister, godmother and godchild) arrived in Dublin on Wednesday evening. They took a bus from the airport to the accommodation we rented. We found a house (an airbnb) located 2 kilometers from Dublin city centre.
On our side, we took a bus in the afternoon to be able to join my family in the evening. It's nice to be reunited with your family after a month without seeing them.
1st day.
The next morning, we went shopping for our stay. And in the afternoon, we started our discovery of the city. We visited :

- Merrion Square Park is a small and friendly park where we can see the statue of Oscar Wilde.
- Saint Stephens Green Park, is a 9 hectares park. It is the most famous park in the capital. It is pleasant to walk with the family, to relax, there are also playgrounds where children can exercise, and lakes and wooded gardens are ideal for relaxation.
- the National Gallery, houses the national collection of Irish and European art. Admission is free. This monument is gigantic, it takes several hours to visit the entire monument. In Ireland, admission to most museums is free.
- Dublin Castle, was not my favorite monument during my various visits. It has been renovated many times, so it has the particularity of having several architectural styles.

To get back, we went through the Temple Bar district, it is a very lively district. It is lively on the banks of the river, composed of paved pedestrian alleys. There are many pubs that host folk music concerts and DJs, while restaurants serve Asian, American and Irish dishes. Original shops sell clothing and crafts made by local designers.
It is a very touristic area, where we can meet many people from all over the world.
2nd day.
For this second day, we left for the day, to fully enjoy the day.
We followed the Liffey River through Dublin, where we were able to admire various monuments such as the Congress Centre, the Irish Emigration Museum and the Custom House.
We then entered O'Connell Street, it is the main street of Dublin, where we can find an astronomical amount of shops, fast food, restaurants, souvenir shops, casinos, shopping malls. It is a very lively district with many tourists from all over the world.
At lunchtime, we ate in the Remembrance Garden. It's a very pretty little garden in the centre of Dublin.

In the afternoon, we visited The church, it is an old church now renovated into a restaurant and bar. A very unusual place. We then visited the National Museum of Ireland.
And we passed in front of the Guinness Storehouse, unfortunately, we couldn't go to visit it, it was too late and the visit was too long.
After eating a donut, which is very common here in Ireland and drinking a milkshake, we went back to home.
3rd day.
For this third day, we had the opportunity to visit the Irish government. Unfortunately in this place, we are not allowed to take pictures. Visits are only allowed on Saturdays at three different times. The visit is free and carried out by a guide. It was a very rewarding visit.
We then went to visit the Museum of Natural History, which exhibits more than 10,000 animals, both animals representative of local fauna and animals from all over the world.
Then we were visited the gardens of Trinity College. It is the oldest university in Ireland. It is a prestigious university which is recognized worldwide for its social science programs and is consistently ranked in the top 100 universities in the world in this field.
To finish the day, we went shopping quietly.
In the evening, we went out in Dublin, to see Dublin by night. We went to the Temple Bar area. It was very lively, and it was Saturday night.
We were able to enjoy a good beer in a typical Irish pub.
4th day.
It's already the day of departure. We have to return the accommodation and take back the suitcases. For this day, no visits, since we had our luggage with us. So it was quite complicated. We went shopping on Dublin's main street, my family bought some souvenirs and we ate one last time at the restaurant together. Then we took my family back to the airport and went back to the farm.
It was a great weekend with the family.

With LP, we want to go back to Dublin to make the visits we didn't have time to make, like the wax museum, the zoo or the Guinness Storehouse.
